Little Kids Rock
Little Kids Rock transforms children's lives by restoring and revitalizing music education in public schools nationwide. When it comes to making sure every child receives a first-rate education, music matters. Learning to play a musical instrument can have a profound effect on children's lives because it has the power to inspire the creativity and confidence that are critical to success in and out of the classroom. Unfortunately, budget cuts are eliminating programming from New Jersey schools at an alarming rate. With the support of generous donors and honorary board members such as Bonnie Raitt, Slash and Paul Simon, Little Kids Rock is serving nearly 75,000 students in 12 states, including New Jersey, with free instruments and rockin' lessons, right in their schools!
